Lift someone's spirits with a Memphis Style Greeting Card As you might already know, I'm a huge fan of 80s Memphis style. It just makes me smile. The more bad taste, the better, as far as I am concerned.  Why not, then, share these big bold, bright shapes and colors with your friends and loved ones. Especially during this Covid lockdown period. If it makes one person smile it is surely worth it. In Love with 80s Memphis Style I've created an 80s Memphis Style collection on my BillingtonPix Society6 store . What is Memphis Style? 80s Postmodern abstract shapes and flat colors juxtaposed together. Most people either love or hate it. The designs of the 1980s weren't particularly suited to work very well together, tended to clash and were quite hard to integrate with existing furniture. More recent designs tend to have a more toned down look, but not always.  Check out my 80s Memphis collection on Society6

Here are a few stickers I have created on Zazzle. You can find my sticker collection here too.  I love Memphis design, which comes from the 1980s and was a foil against the more formulaic post war designs that preceded. It kind of aims to shock with its bright colors and bold shapes. Love it or loathe it - it is quite a controversial design movement and I didn't use to care for it much. However these days I've come to realise how much it is has grown on me. What do you think of postmodern design like this? Do you like or hate it?
