Calling all Peckham fans and residents For all Peckham fans, here is my ultimate 80s Memphis design that I have currently on my BillingtonPix RedBubble store . It works perfectly on a wall clock, but is available on many different products. What is Memphis Style? Memphis Style was developed in the 1980s as a Postmodern foil against the more formulaic designs that had come out of the Modernist post war period. It is quite a controversial style that aims to break all the rules with its bold use of colors and shapes. When it came to Memphis style furniture, it was often quite tricky to match anything up with it, so different was it in design to what had come beforehand.  Memphis Style Reinterpreted  These days the design has toned down somewhat and whilst still contains the famous geometric shapes and squiggles, is more in keeping with modern day 21st century tastes.
