I currently have two collections where I am selling a huge number of products, ranging from credenza chests, wall clocks, wall murals, tables, t-shirts, tote bags, coffee mugs, phone cases, cushions and face masks.

I don't have as many designs uploaded as I do at my BillingtonPix.RedBubble.com shop or my own BillingtonPix.com website, simply because the upload process is rather torturous. I have to physically enable each product, unlike on RedBubble where I have to just switch off the ones I don't want to push live. I do intend to keep uploading more designs though, so please check back soon.

What is Mid-Century Modern design?

What is the style that came out of Bauhaus and the Post War period, lasting until the mid 60s? That is Mid-Century Modern (MCM), a term coined in 1984 by an American collector of 50s furniture. I've written a blog post about this incredible design period, looking at homewares (furniture) designers such as Eames and Alvar Aalto  and graphic design with artists such as Paul Rand and Saul Bass. I also make a quick look at Atomic Style and how that is closely aligned to Mid Century Modern. The optimism coming out of the Bauhaus, using new Post War technologies, such as plastic molding, and industrial materials such as steel, together with more organic woods and leathers allowed this movement to look forward, whilst still holding on to its past heritage. Starting out with Print on Demand

Hey everyone, I'm Matthew and I'm currently in the process of creating a set of market place shops that will help me with my print-on-demand business. I live in London, and am currently sheltering from the Covid virus. It's been a tough year for a lot of people, but I'd like to document my own personal development since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic last year.  I took redundancy from old workplace last April. For a month I binged on Netflix. In my mind I had decided not to continue with my career. Until then I was a solutions architect, having begun an IT career back in 1998.
