New products in my BillingtonPix Zazzle shop

I've uploaded some Memphis style Save the Date invitation postcards to my Zazzle shop. They are quite cute I think, and definitely of a different style. They come with an envelope and are perfect as party or engagement party save the date invitations. The entire collection can be found in the Memphis Designs collection of my shop.

If you don't know what Memphis Style is I've got a little explainer against each product. But it was created by the Memphis Group in the 1980s as a reaction against the post war designs which were deemed too formulaic. The founding members of the Memphis Group were Ettore Sottsass, Nathalie Du Pasquier and Michele de Lucchi. Memphis style follows no rules and is quite anarchic I think. It mixes together lots of different styles, colors and shapes that really should not be mixed.

Calling all Peckham fans and residents For all Peckham fans, here is my ultimate 80s Memphis design that I have currently on my BillingtonPix RedBubble store . It works perfectly on a wall clock, but is available on many different products. What is Memphis Style? Memphis Style was developed in the 1980s as a Postmodern foil against the more formulaic designs that had come out of the Modernist post war period. It is quite a controversial style that aims to break all the rules with its bold use of colors and shapes.
